This concept design offers a solution to a client who desire to build a development center for training young women and girls in leadership and other relevant 21st century goals. The land is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana and a reclaimed illegal mining land. The design employs the use of local material such as wood and bricks which are readily available in the area. The project has structures for administrative, accommodation, academic and recreational purposes. It is expected to give a participant a holistic experience and carefully designed to promote collaboration amongst members. Views from the mountains close to the site are explored by the opening up windows and balconies of the accommodation block in that direction.
