THE ‘INDEPENDENT’ CONSULTANT… A VITAL INGREDIENT OR BURDEN IN THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS?

Construction, like other commercial enterprises require parties to enter into a legal binding agreement. Usually, the parties to such as contract will be the Employer and the Contractor. Whereas the Contractor constructs the works, the Employer is obliged to pay the Contractor as agreed for works done.

WALK-IN COLD ROOM SITES IN GAMBAGA AND DAMONGO ACHIEVE PRACTICAL COMPLETION

On the 3rd and 4th days of October, 2024, Multi-Build together with a technical team from UNICEF (The Client) and Ghana Health Service (GHS) held a meeting to participate in a joint inspection of the subject project sites to ascertain the completeness of the sites for the installation of equipment and subsequent operationalization of the facilities. These sites are located in North East and Savannah regions of Ghana

WORKS COMMENCE ON UNICEF HEALTH PROJECTS NATIONWIDE

Multi-Build Limited together with representatives from the Estate Department of Ghana Health Service have completed handing over of all twelve (12) sites earmarked for the construction of the various health projects across the country as part of consultancy services for the design and construction supervision. These projects are Walk-in Cold Rooms, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Plants, and Neonatal Care Units, which are being financed by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

Multi-Build hosts Planco Consulting

Multi-Build Limited, from Monday 9th October, 2023 to 14th October. 2023 has met with a delegation from Planco Consulting and CES Consulting Engineers (all based in Germany) as part of technical collaboration for the Establishment of a Center of Excellence Building for Refrigeration and Green TVET at the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) in Kumasi. The project is being financed by the KfW Development Bank and is expected to be completed by end of year 2024. The project after completion aims to improve the preconditions for the creation of sustainable jobs as part of the Government of Ghana’s TVET reform agenda.
