On the 3rd and 4th days of October, 2024, Multi-Build together with a technical team from UNICEF (The Client) and Ghana Health Service (GHS) held a meeting to participate in a joint inspection of the subject project sites to ascertain the completeness of the sites for the installation of equipment and subsequent operationalization of the facilities. These sites are located in North East and Savannah regions of Ghana

mortality rate. The two sites are primarily for the storage of vaccines. The project was executed by AWACON Limited within a period of 10 months. The scope of the project included the construction of a structure that accommodates a storage area for walk-in freezers, a training room, reception, 3 offices, toilets and a kitchenette.

The completion of these sites represents the first of the four lots to be substantially complete. The other lots have sites at various levels of completion. At the handing over meetings, representatives of UNICEF lauded the Consultant- Multi-Build and the Contractor for the completion of the project. It was further advised that the beneficiaries, Ghana Health Service provide a high level of maintenance and security regime for the facilities and installed equipment to ensure the sustainability of the project.
